The galenIQ™ range has been expanded to include a ninth product: galenIQ™ 801. This new grade combines a fine particle size (d50 of 24µm) with a solubility of 42g/100g in an aqueous solution at 20°C.

It has outstanding binding properties for both wet granulation and agglomeration processes. It also offers a high dilution potential, low hygroscopicity, excellent chemical stability and good disintegration properties, and it is easy to handle.

GalenIQ™ 801 can also be used in coating processes to improve film adhesion on tablet surfaces and cut costs and production time.

And don’t forget that the galenIQ™ range of pharmaceutical-grade isomalts has a pleasant flavour, anticariogenic properties and a low glycemic index that is ideal for humans and animals with diabetes.

A suitable grade is available for every application:
-    galenIQ™ 720 and 721: direct compression and sachet- and capsule-filling
-    galenIQ™ 800, 801 and 810: wet granulation and fluidized-bed agglomeration processes
-    galenIQ™ 960 and 980: capsule-filling
-    galenIQ™ 981: sugar-free coatings
-    galenIQ™ 990: lozenges
