Arthred FA The hydrolysed collagen supplement
With age, the skin, muscles and, more generally, all tissues lose their tone and youthful appearance due to the decrease in the body’s production of collagen.

Collagen is a fibrous protein of animal or marine origin, the role of which can be compared to a framework. It is the most abundant protein in the body and the main support structure for the muscles, bones and skin. Transformed by the natural process of enzymatic hydrolysis, it is readily absorbed by the blood, thus ensuring excellent bioavailability and a concentration of several essential amino acids such as proline, hydroxyproline and glycine.

Collagen acts in the cells by nourishing and stimulating them to produce new whole molecules of collagen, replacing those molecules that have lost their functional efficacy. Numerous scientific studies published since the 1950s, and especially those carried out by Tyson T.L., “The effect of Gelatine on Fragile Finger Nails“ and Scala J & al. “Effect of daily gelatine ingestion on human scalp hair “, have shown that hydrolysed collagen supplements significantly boost the resistance of the nails and hair. The latter is more beautiful, stronger and thicker whilst the nails are less brittle and striated.
Based on these results, scientists have above all concluded that hydrolysed collagen intake is beneficial for the skin, namely promoting greater elasticity, moisture levels, tone and a youthful glow.

These published studies recommend a daily quantity of 10 g in order to benefit from ArthredTM FA, a purified extract of hydrolysed collagen of marine origin, which may provide a basis for your subsequent indication authorisation dossiers.

ArthredTM F A, developed by our partner, Cargill, is available as a white, water-soluble powder. It is recommended in particular for food supplements and enriching dietetic products or drinks.
