PRESERVATIVE-FREE FORMULATION!

In the search for ever more natural formulas, food is a fertile source of inspiration for many. This goes for the application of xylitol as a protection agent.

Xylitol is a sugar present in the bark of birch trees. It is used for its sweetening properties and its ability to reduce cavities thanks to its effect on bacterial flora (bibliographical references on request).

Chemyunion has added a caprylic acid to this base to obtain an ester: HEBEATOL.
This product benefits from all the properties of xylitol and can claim to be a protection aid agent for formulas.

According to tests carried out, the recommended concentration of HEBEATOL is 1.5 % to obtain a preservative-free formula.

Other advantages of this ingredient include: moisturising power (transepidermal water loss test carried out), increases the viscosity of shampoos and liquid soaps, acts as a co-emulsifier for a velvety touch.

HEBEATOL is 100 % plant-based, 100 % biodegradable and made from renewable primary ingredients.
